As part of the National Creativity and Entrepreneurship Week 2026, and based on the principle of joint cooperation between higher education institutions and the private sector, the Deanship of Al-Multaqa Al-Nahrain Private College, under the supervision of the Department of Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering, organized a scientific seminar entitled:

“The Future of Renewable Energy in Iraq.”

The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of renewable energy sources and their role in achieving sustainable development, as well as to discuss the challenges and opportunities available for developing this vital sector in Iraq. The event was attended by a distinguished group of academics and specialists, with the presence of the respected Dr. Alaa Al-Din Hussein.

The seminar included scientific themes and fruitful discussions that contributed to raising awareness about the importance of investing in clean energy and supporting future orientations toward a sustainable environment.
