As part of strengthening joint academic cooperation and activating partnership agreements between educational institutions, the Engineering Technical College in Basra received, on Wednesday morning الموافق 6/5/2026, a delegation of faculty members and students from the Computer Engineering Technologies Department at Multaqa Al-Nahrain Private College.

The delegation was welcomed by Professor Dr. Nawras Jameel, Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Sabri, Assistant Dean, and Professor Dr. Issa, Head of the Automation Department, who introduced the objectives of the scientific visit.

The visit included a field-based scientific activity aimed at enhancing the students’ practical skills. It involved exploring key laboratory equipment used in the specialization, in addition to attending introductory lectures delivered by the academic staff on how these devices operate and their related engineering applications.

This visit aims to develop students’ practical competencies and provide them with direct exposure to the applied engineering environment, thereby better preparing them to meet labor market demands.

This activity aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting high-quality, practice-oriented learning, and also supports SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through encouraging innovation and exposure to modern engineering technologies.
