The Department of Pathological Analysis at Multaqa Al-Nahrain College organized a scientific field visit to Basra Teaching Hospital (Al-Jumhuri) on Thursday, May 7, 2026, aiming to strengthen students’ practical skills and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

The visit included hands-on training in the hospital’s central laboratories under the supervision of qualified specialists. Students were introduced to advanced laboratory equipment used in pathological analysis and attended informative sessions conducted by academic staff on the operation of modern laboratory technologies.

The visit also provided students with valuable exposure to real work environments, helping them better prepare for the job market and enhance their professional competencies. The activity was successfully conducted thanks to the support and cooperation of the hospital’s administrative assistant director and laboratory staff.
