The Department of Biology at Al-Nahrain University College is one of the distinguished academic departments dedicated to preparing specialized scientific cadres in various fields, including microbiology, molecular biology, botany, zoology, and environmental sciences.

The department follows modern scientific curricula aligned with global advancements in the field of life sciences, integrating theoretical study with practical training in state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the latest technologies and research tools. The department admits graduates of the scientific track from secondary education. The study duration is four years, after which students earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, qualifying them to work in the health, research, and education sectors or pursue postgraduate studies.
